About this course
The Spanish PEC Basic Orientation SafeLand virtual course will be delivered remotely, using instructor-led online learning. The course content remains the same as classroom-based training, however, you’ll attend a scheduled, interactive class via video conferencing. Students are required to attend full learning hours. All materials, class discussion and testing will take place in Spanish.
This comprehensive, instructor-led training meets API RP 75 and API RP T-1 requirements and is accredited by SafeLandUSA™ . On a busy worksite in the oil & gas industry, it’s vital that workers understand general safety standards, and can perform their duties without causing harm to others. So, before entering the workplace on any assignment, make sure you’re aware of potential hazards, and how best to mitigate them.
More than 25 of the leading oil and gas operators accept this program. Upon successful completion students will received an I.D card and their information stored on a central database.

Students will take a written exam at the end of this course, to confirm their understanding of PEC Basic Orientation safety standards. Each module carries an 80% pass grade. One re-test is allowed for each module failed.
Upon successful completion of the course, all students are issued a physical and digital PEC ID card with their name, company name, picture, barcode, and completed course. All students are automatically entered into PEC’s Advanced Training Tracker where your company’s clients and auditors can view proof of employee orientation.
This course is essential for any employee that is new to the oil, gas and Petrochem industry. It will benefit candidates that will consistently be working in onshore or offshore facilities.
How will I receive instructions for my virtual instructor led course?
For virtual instructor led courses, the students will receive an email directly from the instructor advising them how to log in to the course and what materials to bring if any. We ask that any students who do not receive these instructions contact us during business hours at least one business day prior to the course start date. When will I/my employee receive joining instructions?
Joining instructions can be provided anytime immediately following the course booking up until the night before your class. In many cases, this is dependent on the instructor’s schedule and are typically sent around their existing class schedules. We ask that any students who do not receive their joining instructions contact us during business hours at least one business day prior to the course start date.
